Battalion Task Force soldiers Mechanical XXIII-F/UNIFIL Konga (United Nations Interim Force In Lebanon), held a flag raising ceremony on Friday (17/08/2012). The ceremony was held to commemorate the 67th anniversary of Independence.
In a press release received Kompas.com, Saturday (18/08/2012), a ceremony was held at UN Headquarters Indobatt Posn 7-1, Ashid al Qusayr, South Lebanon. Acting as Inspector of Ceremony (Irup), Deputy Commander of Task Force (Wadansatgas) XXIII-F/UNIFIL Konga (Indobatt) Lieutenant Colonel March FJH. Pardosi and attended by representatives of Company personnel and staff officers who are in the area Kompoun 7-1.
The series of events filled with a reading of the text of the Proclamation of Independence, followed by the raising of the flag, reading of the Preamble of the Constitution of 1945 and closed with prayer. Implemented in the holy month of Ramadan, with a solemn ceremony.

Wadansatgas personnel are also invited to the ceremony Indobatt to make the moment of independence is to attach a sense of unity and togetherness antarpersonel Task Force. This is done to support the successful implementation of UNIFIL peacekeeping duty in Lebanon.
